the story of you
may 13 – june 14 (5 weeks)
Have you ever wondered why you’re always at odds with certain people?
What if you could better understand why certain characters and plotlines keep reappearing in your story? And, what if you could use this knowledge to be more confident in your approach to problems and relationships?
In this five-week online exploration, The Story of You blends the wonder of brain science and the magic of emotion to help shed light on our hidden drivers. This light-hearted and soulful approach to self-exploration offers easy to follow exercises, mind-opening activities and inspiring lessons that gently nudge you towards an open view of your future while honoring the way you’ve held memories from your past.
Join us for The Story of You, five weeks with Ria Sharon, who followed her own story across the globe and seasoned storycatcher, Jen Lemen. Ria and Jen will help you examine the stories you tell as a vehicle for self-discovery and inspiration as you wake up to the life that’s calling you. We’ll also hear Oriah Mountain Dreamer, bestselling author and well known storyteller, share her insights on the power of story.
What past participants have said…
When I signed up for The Story of You, I was (mostly unconsciously) looking for validation of my story itself, and reassurance that my story was valued. The lessons taught me how to tell my story in a more honest way. The Story of You taught me compassion for myself and for the other “characters” in my story, and Jen and Ria gave me the kind, gentle, and non-judgmental space I needed to see things more clearly.
Thank you for The Story of You. When I signed up, I hoped to gain insight into who I am and what I bring to the world. The many simple lessons helped me go even deeper than I imagined. Through various and nearly daily ah-ha moments, I really got that my story has more to do with me — the choices I make, the thoughts I think, and my perceptions of others. This class took me past my knee-jerk reactions to where I can now turn the tough moments and even the real “villains” in my life into something helpful. When the facilitators shared, I felt they did so from a mindful, loving place. I benefited greatly from all the story-sharing the class brought forth from the participants.
